You can't buy a better pair of scissors than Gingher. I have 4 pair, different sizes and shapes..... love them all.

You should also know that if you need your sissors sharpened or if I like I did you drop them and break the point, just go to www.gingher.com and there is info there on how to send them in to be repaired and sharpened. It only cost $7.50. I did mine and I can't tell them from a new pair I recived for Christmas

Congratulations - I have a pair that my brother gave me for Christmas many years ago when he was still in grad school.
I cherish them.

I love my Gingher scissors but I have some I love just as much. If you have a fishing store like Cabella's or Bass Pro Shop in your area they have wonderful scissors that fly fishermen use for about $10. They are called Dr. Slick's. Much less expensive and they are wonderful. The openings for your fingers are also bigger than Ginghers which make them very comfortable. Dr Slick buys from Pakistan where most of these scissors come from. They take them apart and hand sharpen each one individually. Try them, you'll be hooked.
