Hi Tam....I have the exact machine and she is so much fun......Ive had her for almost 2 1/2 yrs now....she embroiders,sews and quilts.......you will be totally amazed on all the embroidery you will be able to do....mine came from Hsn and all the goodies came with it......you can also down load designs online and the great part about this machine (Singer) is you can use any format which are Husquavna,Brother,Janome etc....theres 2 different size hoops....just have fun and read, read and read your manual....and if your interested I will send you a web site that has a forum just for this machine...their a great group of gals that also have this machine and we have projects that we do and just talk about everything from embroidery to family......so have fun with your new machine and sewing....and by the way your hubby sounds like a keeper for sure........Trish :)
