I bought myself a set of pink handled tools & when my ex left - those are the only tools he didn't take!

Glad to hear that there are some engineers who are willing to be "good enough". my dad was an architectural engineer and everything had to be P-R-E-C-I-S-E!!! :)

The lighting in stores often throws off the color matching. I found this with yarn and thread also. Some stores will allow you to take outside to look at the fabric in daylight, if not take it to front of store by the windows.

This cracked me up. My husband is an engineer. We're married 35 years, and I love him much more now than when I married him. In the earlier years, he drove me crazy with his perfection and rigid adherence to "rules" about things. I'm much more of a stick-it-in-the-ground-and-hope-it-grows kind of person. When I stopped worrying about what he'd think about how I did something, we started getting along much better.
