A year or two ago, on a Fons and Porter show, I saw a baby quilt they made and pretty sure they called it peek-a-boo.
Anyway, it is a several finished circles folding four parts of the circle to the center, creating a center that can have a design in the middle.

My question is, it looked very simple. BUT, has anyone ever done one and had it turn out? Do the circles need to be close to perfect to match up?

this site has ruler for making the blks but i made mine without. I just made reversible circles. there are lots of postings on this site on this style.

Was it easy to do? I'm wondering if the measurements are not perfect if itwill throw off the whole quilt.

It's also called Faux Cathedral Window. I've made 2 using denim for the circles and just left the edges raw so it frays. The centers of the first one are hubby's old work shirts and the second one is for a baby so I used left over flannel scraps.

Yes, they are very easy to do. If you cut all your circles the same size and mark the center square the same on each one, they are super easy.

I made one as an I Spy baby quilt. Was easy to do. I used something (don't remember if it was a plate or what) to trace the circles then made a template to trace the centers.
