Thoghts comments about the Singer SINGER 7258 Stylist Sewing Machine
 

My DIL is considering buying one. I know Singer has become the brand that one either loves or hates; doesn't seem to be any middle ground.

Nevertheless, thoughts, opinions, pluses, pitfalls would be helpful to know.

My daughter gave me her Singer Sew Mate 5400 a few weeks ago. I love it. She bought it at Walmart for $129 and it has like 60 stitches, and is computerized and very quiet. I have had a brother xl2600 since 2006 and loved it, but I like the singer one better.
