Hi, Do you still have access to the advice you found on "ugly" fabric. It might be helpful to more than me.

Four inch charm squares could be put into 9 patchs and than sliced from side to side and top to bottom and put back together in a totally different design. You have to make at least 2 to be able to make a new design. I heard about it from the Slice and Dice Book. Good way to use up extra squares.

Now I have stumbled upon that baggie of once useless charms and WOW the possiblities. I am so excited to use them.

You've also matured as a quilter- any piece is OK in the right location.

I am so happy for you. It feels so good to use something you thought was a throw away. Have lots of fun.

WTG, so happy for you. My sister in law gave me some material 3 years ago, I go hmmmm, and just today I found just the right little pattern for them. So awesome. Don't you love it when we find a way. :)
