I was looking at the Dear Jane quilts. I was wondering if any one has tried the English Paper Piecing method to put the blocks together? It seems like it might work....

It might work. Just trace your pattern out on card stock and cutting it apart and go from there. I'm assuming you have done some English paper piecing. Some of the angles might be a bit awkward but doable.

If you are new to pp here is a good site.

Linda Franz hand quilted her DJ using freezer paper. Go to her website, you might be able to find out some information there. She has since created inklingo but I ignore that. She explains in her book Quilted Diamonds (DJ blocks skewed into diamond shapes) how to hand piece using freezer paper

Is that where they do it in sections? Than sew sections together. I don't have the book but have heard about it.

I've been working on a EPP quilt. That's what gave me the idea :)

i have done any method that I feel is the easiest for each block. Paper piecing was just one method.

I'm been working on H-1 using EPP and so far it seems to work pretty well. Defiantly makes the tiny triangles manageable.

I must be crazy I haven't finished one hand-sewn project and I'm starting a second.

Have you checked out the Jane Stickle section in the Virtual Section? Klue is no longer on the board but she started a year long project and she wrote many pp tutorials. You will find alot of good ideas and help here.
