Just sort of reinforces all the recent postings about prices.

Yes..... interesting. If it's anything like the gas prices it will spike up a bunch, drop a little, go up a little and we'll all be happy that it's not as high as when it spiked a bunch. And the SS recipiants won't get any stipend this year because the cost of living hasn't risen. Go figure.......

interesting, that explains a lot

Seems like that is the story on everything now days, our economy cannot continue to have less jobs and cost of living going up all the time. Use to be making your things like quilts and clothing was cheaper than buying ready made now it seems there is no way to save. I love this hobby I sure hope they don't price us all out of it.

As a farmer's wife, I know too well what the price of fuel and equipment has done to our profit/loss margin. I know (and buy) quilting fabric that has gone up in price, but am glad that some of the money is trickling down to the cotton farmer. Too many farm wives have to go to town and take jobs just to help keep the farm afloat. Maybe the current prices will help ends meet.
One way to avoid paying so much for fabric is to become stash buster! |
