Does anyone know where I can purchase Thread bobs?
They are little plastic pieces that fit in the hole of the spool of thread so you can snap in the bobbin of the same color, I purchased them years ago and find them very helpful when you are doing a project that requires a lot of different color variation of a thread color |
Haven't seen the "bobs" but if you have a thread rack, you can cut a straw to the desired length and put that over the spindle to hold both. :)

Here's a link. (Hope it works.)

Me again.....Quiltbus.com also has them.
http://www.quiltbus.com/accessories.htm I googled "thread bobs sewing." If you try, you may find additional sources. |
Silly me....not thinking to google thread bobs...Oh well....maybe it is too early in the morning.....LOL

Have never seen those before . Never thought of the straw before, going to do that with my rack... I like keeping the bobbins with the spool  Some shades are so close in color

You can also store your bobbins on a regular thread rack by placing the bobbin on first. |
Try Nancy's Notions.
