Which thread do you use from LCM for piecing and quilting? I am going there this weekend and not sure what to get. I'm new to quilting. 100% cotton? Thread Weight?
Thanks for any help!

i normally use a good poly or cotton thread-
40, 50 or 60 wt...are all commonly used for piecing and quilting.
i use 100 wt silk for applique.
rayons are used more for embroidery.
i use cottons for piecing- but seldom for quilting- poly for quilting---

Thank yo so much. I didn't have a clue. I've been buying spools of coats and clark and for baby and VA give away quilts it's getting quite expensive.

Annie, if you were nearby I'd say "jump in the car"! I am hoping I don't get myself in TOO much trouble. I am already telling myself "you CAN come back, you CAN come back". I hope it works...lol..
