I am interested in thread painting. Any tips on getting started.

I've never heard of it. What is it?

Is when you cover the entire area on a design with thread. Is done almost the same way as free motion quilting, but I use fine threads and is very dense stitched.

This is an example.

Beautiful! Looks very hard to do. You must have a lot of patience.

That is just beautiful. A work of art. Great job. It's something I want to try someday.

I would like advise on thread painting people too! I have another quilt ready to go with a figure and am hesitant to start. I have seeen alot of others, some are heavily quilted and others are sparce.

Never done it. I don't think I could afford all the thread to do it.

That is when you do small projects. The flamingo is no bigger than 14 x 14.

Wow, the flamingo photo is cool!

Is there any links for tutorials or videos on thread painting?
I haven't seen books, hummmm

Will have to look.
