Can someone please tell me if I can use Gutterman 100% Polyester thread for machine peicing?

If its the all purpose sewing thread, yes I use it all the time, I actually prefer to piece with it over coats and clarks

My machine hates Coats and Clarks and my husband just brought me 27 big spools of the Guttermanns polyester that his mother had and I'm just not sure if I can use it like I use the 100%cotton, also can someone tell me what Minlking is?

Thank you so much for the link.. I have been fighting and inner battle at JoAnn's the last few times I have been there because I wasn't sure about using polyester for FMQ. Now I will get some and hope my machine likes it really well!!! As I have read some machines do and some machines don't like it.

you can use it for piecing if your machine likes it- most piecing is done with 40-50 wt thread's, the brands are numerous and so are we- so if it is the right weight and color for your project use it.
some people use only cotton threads, some use only poly threads, some use what ever fits their need at the moment- i love using silk thread but it's expensive- i hate using cotton thread, it seems to always break every couple inches- but it works well for others so maybe it's just my picky machine-

i will be interested to see how you fair...

i just bought a couple spools of the Guttermanns yesterday at Joanns for the first time since they had such a great sale...

hoping my machine will cooperate also...bought colors to go with my next projects though so will have to wait and see lol
