Looking for a online site to buy thread for quilting. I am interested in Masterpiece by Alex Anderson and King tut by superior. Anyone know please let me know.

http://www.superiorthreads.com has everything you want, I think, although some of it may be available for lower prices elsewhere.

Well said Patrice. I love their thread too. I use it for piecing and quilting.

OK, I am convinced. I am going to try Connecting threads for piecing and quilting. I use Precencia almost exclusively along with Superior King Tut. I only use 100% mercerized except when I am using superior Bottome Line. I usually use Bottom Line on the top and 18 or 30 weight in the bobbin for free motion. It's interesting.

I am no expert on anything but I have read that thread should read long staple cotton (example: long staple or extra long staple cotton 50/2 or 60/3.) Is this true? Or is it just a sales gimmick? I would like some feedback on this from more experienced quilters. I want my quilts to be used by family and I want them to last as well as look good. Thanks in advance.
