Is Threadelight Good Embroidery Thread?

I've never heard of it, but I see it is inexpensive online.

I just bought a Janome Embroidery sewing machine so I want to buy a good thread to use and the price is very tempting! (100 - 1,100 yd. spools for $85)

I searched QB but only saw one reference to it. The Embroidery machine thread came up but with 100s of posts I will read eventually -- I would sure like some opinions now.

I usually use Gutterman, Mettler and Bottom Line for my older Janome.

Thanks!

I have not used that particular thread, but have bought "MANY" kits of inexpensive thread like that & have never been disappointed. I use the Polyester thread because I don't want to worry about any bleeding or fading like rayon used to do. I have heard that they have stopped that problem with the rayon thread. I finally broke down & bought one of the Robison Anton sets of thread. NO one can tell the difference as to which thread it is when I embroidery with them.

About 7 years ago, I went out to Ebay & bought a 125 spool set for less than $100. Since then, the price has gone up, & because I had my machine with me, but no thread, I have had to buy extra sets. I mainly look at price & how many colors not brand. It is so very nice at midnight, when I need a different color to just look at my sets & pick the one I want. Most sets have some type of warranty. Test it out quickly. If you have problems, send it back. I have NEVER had to do that.

Have fun with your new toy!
