How do you tie the ties on back and see the square join?
I lay the quilt on the table and use a curved needle in the joins from the front what am I missing? I don't like seeing the ties covering up the front but neither do I want the ties not in a good place.
This one the ties are on the back?

I guess you would just start from the back? Here is a tutorial for ties you cant really see... very neat idea. Maybe this would work for you?

You would need to mark where you want the ties. Maybe with safety pins?

I use long straight pins, pin where I want on the front, turn over and tie on the back. In a large hoop.

If you place a pin in the exact spot you want to tie in all of the intersections you want tied, you can flip the quilt over and use them as your guide. The pins should slip out easily when you are done :D:D:D

Yep, pins or "basting" ties that you can cut off later.
