Anytime I feel like doing it. House doesnt get to messy, jut two of us now and one dog. Run the sweeper more than anything else just to get up threads - dusting happens early in the morning when I get up and when the tables dont look shiny anymore. I use to clean and clean but had 5 kiddoes, but cleaning is not my priority anymore. - j

Longarm Quilting is my job and my passion, so I spend a lot of time there. Mostly the housework just gets a "lick and a Promise", or else hubby does some of it. He is retired but stays busy with lots of other things. Our grandkids live across the country, so we don't even get to spend time with them.

Not as much as I would like to. Shoulder issues and impending surgery is keeping me out of the sewing room more than I would like.

I'm a professional longarm quilter and I spend most of my days quilting other people's quilts. No kid here now, all grown up and married. My husband shares household tasks since he is semi-retired.

I sew on my own patchwork about 30-60 minutes a day. Sometimes, especially in bad wether, I get a weekend day that is not busy and then I sew all day long. Heavenly!

Right now, not nearly enough time. I am lucky to get in a few hours of quilting a week. I rebelled from house work last week and sewed part of a day at one time. I have pets and a husband who carry in way too much dirt. Also friends are always calling for me to do this or that. I do look forward to the day that I can quilt more. I make it a point to go into my quilting room and do something even if I don't touch my machine. And I read a quilt book or magazine every single day.

I quilt as often as I can...my mom lives with hubby and I, she is a lung cancer survivor, 7 years in remission!! She only has 1 lung, but she is a real trooper...There are days when dh is at work, that I quilt and mom crochets...those are great days!! Now I have to admit since joining here, it has cut into my quilting time, however..lol..

I am retired, but, I have laundry, general house cleaning, when we have growing season I am working in the veggie garden (tires). I spend mornings sometimes a few hours reading posts on this board. So I try to work on quilts 3-4 hrs or when I feel like it.

Forget the cleaning house!! Just walk thru and pick up... No children here!
