I never thought to put it under my pedal so it wouldn't move...good idea! I also like finger gloves, they just go over the finger, are cheap and you can still pick up pins etc with them on.

That's a really neat idea! :thumbup: I would have never thought about it. I bought a roll from the Dollar Store and have never used it. Perfect timing I'm finishing a quilt and wasn't looking forward to the sweaty hands!

I also use the Machingers glove, they do not make your hands sweat, the only plastic is on the fingertips and they stretch so they fit great.

It is an excellent idea! I was always putting on and taking off my gloves.

Last week in Shipshewana, I saw someone had cut squares of this stuff, rounded the corners, crocheted an edge, and was selling them for "cap snafflers" (to give you more grip for opening jars). That was a new one to me.
