I have not tried this myself, so don't know for sure it works, but it was in the latest Quilter's Newsletter and I haven't seen this tip before. It said to use vinegar to remove blue or purple heatset marks.

If it works, it might save a few quilts.

this is a great tip, I have had some of the markers that didn't fade away before

White - I'd be afraid apple cider might leave a yellow stain on a light colored fabric.
