OH WHAT A GREAT TIP, I MUST remember that, I am fixing to start a project with green leaves
|
I use a dark or light grey. Also, a darker and lighter tan. Learned this from a quilt teacher way back when . . . Anyhow, works for me.

Thanks for the tip. when i took my quilting class that is what the teacher was saying to more on the beige side. She said as long as your had shades of grey, white, beige and black you should be covered. But Im new to quilting so I am taking everyones word for it :)

Guess I better stock up on gray thread the next time JoAnn's has a half-off sale on thread. Thanks for the tip.

I just wanted to say thanks for this tip. I remember reading it when I bought the fabric for my current project (red/blue). I was standing there looking at thread trying to figure out how I could do it without changing after each piece when BING! Oh, yes, gray! It works terrific.

Yes that is so true I hardly use any other color but gray. I have it in all shades. I learned that tip from a lady that i worked for in a quilt shop. Anyway that is a great tip to give out. right on
