Hmmm. When I first read the tip about wax paper, I wondered if it would be helpful holding in place the many layers of fabric cut together for a OBW. (It might just get in the way of course, not to mention making the stack harder to cut.)

But if wax paper affects the fabric, I won't even try it!

This may bbe a stupid question but if you use wax paper between two pieces of fabric and then sew the fabrics together, how do you get it out?

Great feedback. Remember I am only telling you what Penny said. I agree about the waxed paper. If it does leave a residue, I would not be interested in using it if pressing were necessary
either. As for removing the freezer paper, as Amma said, use shorter stitches and it is easier to remove.I love using freezer paper but have not tested the wax paper yet. Just passing this along. :-) Donna
