titanium blades

Has anyone used titanium blades. Are they worth the price?

I've used them. I bought them on Amazon. They stay sharp for a long time. I also bought another one, that just says Japanese steel and it lasts a long time, too. Both of these blades lasted a really long time, even after abuse. I've cut paper with them and they still cut fabric very well without all those little "skips".

I tried them a couple of years ago. Didn’t get anymore mileage than regular blades so couldn’t justify the cost.

Have had the Titaniums, but didn't really think they were any better than others.

For blades, I normally went with the name brands, thinking that was better.
But the prices have got ridiculous, which made me hesitate to change the blade,
when I should, because of the $.

Then one day, I saw no names on Amazon. Ridiculously cheap in comparison!!
Took my chances, figuring even if I had to change it more often, I was still ahead of the game
I think there were 100 or so!

And you've probably already figured it out by now ...
... Yes, seem to be as good as the name brands with their lasting ability.
Yet because of the price, I am probably doing a better job at changing them up.

I haven't tried the titanium blades, but I do use a Famore cutter and have ordered more of the blades. IMO they are the best ever. They cut thru layers of fabric like butter. I understand that Famore will sharpen blades for you. I'm going to try that. I just love these blades.

I think Fanmore makes Missouri Star blades. They are very good.

My most recent purchase was a whole slew of blades bought on Amazon and they work great. Price is fantastic.

I have been using the Japanese steel blades and really like them because they are reasonably priced, last a long tme, and do a great cutting through fabric.

Tried them once and did not notice better mileage from them at all. I'll stick to the cheaper ones tha I can buy in 10 packs when I can get them.

I tried a cheaper brand of blades and they tore up my cutting mat which cost me an arm and a leg to replace. So I got rid of all of those in the trash and never buy anything but the good name brand ones. I haven't' tried the ones you are speaking about. So I can't comment.
