My philosophy in life is "it never hurts to ask"; so I would definitely lo-ball her and let her come back with a counter offer. As long as the machine works, you don't use the case that often; and you are not committed if you don't like the price!

I'm with TraumaRN, except that my philosophy is, "Never pay the asking price." She's offering it OBO, so make an offer.

Around here, they go for much more, even at auction. And with shopgoodwill.com, you never know how much work it will need. In addition, some of them do not package their machines well which results in more problems.

But seriously, if I were you, I'd make an offer. All she can do is say no.

Thanks everyone I already told her I wasn't interested. Too much work to make it look nice.
