Toile Fabric
I've just decided That Toile Stars is the next quilt I want to make. I have had the fabric in my stash for 4-5 years, too pretty to cut. I made one block before I realized my fabric wasn't washed. So washed it as usual, Oh my I think it was printed cheese cloth. Where can I buy good Toile fabric. What name should I be looking at. One good thing I only made a test block.

Hello from the Mainland! When I read your post and I googled the pattern, what comes to mind is Moda's French General quilting cotton line of fabrics.

We get good quality fabric all over around here. I only buy 100% cotton.

I too was going to suggest Robert Kaufman fabrics. They are a nice weight with a great hand.

Thank you, printed this off. Still haven't gotten shopping. Busy three weeks (company).
