first you take a piece of paper and lay under the seat and trace around it and make you a pattern then you add about 1/2 inch to it so you will have enough to turn under for your elastic or draw string then applicate what ever you want on it, hope this helps you i have made several and they are easy.

Amazing idea...who'd a thunk it?

I make and use towlet seat covers to decorate the bathroom. It gives a little flair to the bathroom. Just have to copy the lid of the towlet and add 3 inches plus and fold over 1 inch and sew leaving a opening on the bottom of the seat and run a string thru it to tie it.

Do you use batting and quilt them too? :D:D:D
|
I use polyester batting as it is cheaper batting and I add facing to the back of the fabric. I also make a matching tank cover and for the top of the tank I make a scarf for the top.

Thank for the idea! DD and SIL just got an apartment (YEAH!!) and this will be good way to spruce up the bathroom.

One year I made about 10 sets in Christmas fabrics. They were lots of fun and really easy.

Thanks! I'm going to try it. I have at least two places I'd like to have them, and maybe 3. Then if I get loads of compliments on them . . gifts!
