All your quilts are beautiful. I am wanting to do a quilt with an actual Tongan motif, any idea where to find one. I have a friend at work that they just had a little boy and they are from Tonga. I think I'll try and use some similar fabrics to yours but I am at a loss for a pattern.
Thanks, Marla |
Did you purchase the pattern or is it a free one? I like it very much...you are doing a great job...

I think we both are doing it as a BOM but here is the pattern from Hancocks of Paducah

I purchased my pattern before it was available for sale through a friend at a LQS. I am just working on it as time allows. But it is a ton of fun!!! I am going on vacation for a few weeks, but look forward to working on it when I get back!

I have the pattern...so love to hear your thoughts on it as you go. AND see photos! I'll be doing mine in Moda Wildflower Seranade and Kansa Troubles... and other Modas that are similar. I plan to do in 2011 sometime.

I am working on block #7 which has 77 pieces. Hope to get it finished by tomorrow. My BOM quilt shop day is April 6 but I like to give myself a couple extra days. We can't get ahead as we don't have the fabric until we go to the shop and get our pieces for the next month which is free if you have finished the previous month.

Wow, that's going to be gorgeous.
