I bought several fabrics that were sparkly because I wanted them to be sparkly. However when I was ironing and starching them I found it took the sparkliness right off the fabric. I was disappointed. But in your case since this is what you want, maybe try to iron it with a very hot iron and see if that helps.

 I often use the reverse side of printed white on white because the white print maybe too overpowering. If you like the way it looks - whatever the issue.. DO It! |
Once it is done is anyone going to know it is the back side but you? One of the joys of quilting is doing it your way. Post pictures when it is done.

sometimes the back is the best side to use.

I washed some sparkly fabric with some underwear and now all my underwear is sparkly!!
But the fabric still has plenty of sparkle. I didn't know you could have too much sparkle. |
Yes, sometimes the reverse side of the fabric just looks nicer to you.

go for it

I use the reverse side alot, especially with whites when the print looks like plastic.
