Oh I don't quilt around every word, sometime just a wavy line between the lines of lettering.

Some T-Shirts have an iron on pattern and will crack with time, others are silk screened with dyes. I find the ones with the iron on design harder to quilt through. So, I just quilt around them and the other type quilt through them. If you have to quilt an all over design experiment with ball point needles on some scraps.

I will use ball point needles. I usually do with any kind of knit. But that's a good reminder. Thank you.

I have made several t-shirt quilts. I do a cross hatch approximately 3 inches apart. Haven't had any problem going through logos or writing.
