I'm working a garage sale with my Mother in Law and her friend came by with this toy sewing machine. I works using two batteries or you can hand crank it. Everything seem to be there, we have the orginial box, the top for the green case, all in great condition. I'm trying to get an idea of it's histroy and a value. Thanks Everyone!

I have no answer for you but what a cool machine.
BTW- I'm from Rockford. |
I don't know anything about it. You can check eBay for prices on vintage child's sewing machines. There are quite a few on there.

Check on E bay for one and it may give you an idea.

I found it ... it was/is on ebay. It's a different color but is the same machine and box. The one I'm looking at seems to be in much better condition and has all its orginal parts. I'm thinking of offering her $20 for it. Wow, I might have started a new hobby!

Nancy Zieman has quite a collection of toy machines, I think they are all adorable. Looks like a great beginning to a new collection :D:D:D

Keep that box, it very much improves the value of whatever came in it. On Antiques Roadshow they are always commenting on that.

I am 71 and I had one like that when I was little. It was hand-cranked, but no batteries. I absolutely loved it and it helped me learn to sew! What a treasure! I would surely buy it if I were you!

I have a toy Singer still in the original box with all parts and papers. I paid $70 for it last year at an antique store.
