Triangle Frenzy help

1 Attachment(s)
I have two gorgeous border fabrics that I have just cut up into 60 degree triangles.

I have 16 of each of the light blue ones (so 32 total) and 24 each of the dark blue / black ones (so 48 total) for a grand total of 76 triangles.

I am trying to find a quilt that I can make using all of these triangles. I've looked at triangle frenzies, but don't find any that are:

a) bigger than a table runner
b) have two types of fabric

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have also been trying to figure it out on my EQ and while I can get the layout fine, I can get my images to look right lol ...

Thanks so much in advance, because I know I will have fabulous suggestions by tomorrow night when I am ready to look at it again!

Thank you nativetexan, but I am looking for bigger than a table runner, and I'm trying to keep the same idea as the table runner, but on a larger format!

How about doing the long table runner pattern and sew them along the long sides like a row quilt. Be aware if you do not have the pattern, the center long piece of the one with a twist in the center, is cut as if two of the 60 degree triangles are one long piece. I made the mistake of cutting all triangles and then had trouble getting my long center pieces to match up. Lovely fabrics!

there's a quilt in the new Modern Quilts Unlimited that might work for this. Don't have a link but you can google them and they usually have a way for you to check what is in each magazine.

I clicked on the Google link and it led me to a wonderful 60 degree page. There are so many ideas here.

I have been wanting to make one of the 60 degree Frenzy quilt, but I don't usually make table runners. I fell in love with this quilt. Wendy called it Spinning Frenzy. It really gives you an idea for other things you can do with stripes.

Since 6 of the pieces will make a hexagon, couldn't you adapt any pattern that uses them? I.E. a one block wonder...

I do like the site Barb linked for Wendy's quilts

barb - wendy's stripes is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much

quilt nan - i love that ... and might do something like that with the two different fabrics - a chain of each !

suzi- now why didn't I think of that!!!! Um, yes, it does make a hexagon! Amazing what your brain won't connect unless prompted! I have other border fabrics, and will definitely be looking at hexies for the next one! Thanks
