Has anyone tried the sewing machine needles that are easy threading?
I recently purchased ALOT of these for my Brother sewing machine. Once I figured out how to thread them; had to retrain my brain to get the thread from front to back! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what! As long as I sew only straight line sewing and no fancy stitches they do ok. The minute I try to speed up or do a design stitch it comes unthreaded! I've tried loosening the tension. I've tried tightening the tension. I've cleaned the machine from top to bottom. Do I just have to admit I've spent money for ALOT of needles that really aren't worth IT?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might be able to give me.

My mom tried some of these and they were great sewing slowly and straight lines, but when she would speed up, the needles would break.

Great idea. Maybe they are just temperamental and we just need to realize and accept the limitations.

Does it come unthreaded while you are stitching, rather than at the beginning when you start stitching? Maybe the manufacturer has a website where you could ask a question.

I was told you have to decrease the tension for them to work other than straight sewing.

i have a feeling the nedles are weak at the point where they should be strong. if they are the ones i'm thinking of i imagine it would be like sewing with a needle that has a burr on it.

They come unthreaded while I'm in the middle of a seam. I will try lowering the tension. Never had a problem with the needle breaking, but that's a whole different can of worms!

Thanks for the suggestions!
