Does "needing fabric" ever have anything to do with trips like this? Isn't most if it the "experience" ? :)

I was curious about Lens Mills since I had never heard of it. I googled it and went to their site. I don't see how anyone can get out of there in shorter than a whole day. WOW. Thank goodness it doesn't have online shopping or my checking account would be depleted in a matter of seconds.

Wow! Now I know where to shop for fabric in Lancaster! Thanks Nilla! Going to Indiana in October (I live in PA) where it is Amish country.....I think there are equal amounts of buggies there to cars. I love it! So looking forward to fabric shopping there! :)
And for you, Tashana, good luck with your fabric shopping! It's addicting! I had a lovely friend with that same name. The Lord called her home 9 years ago; I miss her so. Love the name! |
Oh sounds like you have such a wonderful time planned. Be sure to post some pictures of your fantastic finds : )

This Texas gal dreams of PA in the fall. I'm saving your list of stores for my bucket list.

Yep, this is a must. There's a Sauder's in Denver (Pa) too.
Sauders has some good prices on flat folds. I've also visited Weavers a few times. It's a nice shop, but usually I find so much at the other places I visit that I don't bother with them since they aren't close to anything else. I do love getting away to Lancaster for a day or two whenever I can! |
