Trombone theme for a quilt

I'm searching for a pattern which will have a trombone theme for a quilt for my grandson. Any suggestions where I might begin the search?

I would start by looking for trombone fabric. Once you had that you could use any pattern you wanted with that fabric as the focal point. Maybe Warm Wishes.

I collected music fabric for a quilt and eventually made a quilt from it. There is quite a bit of variety out there. I'd start by going on line and googling music fabric. You'll find some with notes and some with instruments and more.

Try googling 'trombone fabric'. I got lots of hits although most had multiple music instruments on them not just trombones. But there are tons of fabrics with music notes, sheet music designs. Try Harts Fabrics, they had a lot of music themed fabrics. There were some on eBay too. Could you design a trombone appliqué?
