Trouble naming a special quilt - see pic at post #12

I have made a Wall Hanging a quilt of 2 New Mexico Mission Churches. I was made for my niece who was terminally ill. She picked the patterns and wanted it hang by her bed so she could see it. I finished it just in time to hang it and she enjoyed it for 5 days before she passed. I didn't have time to name it. I am going to have it hung in our local quilt show in Sept. I just cant' think of a name for it. Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks so much, Judy

It would help a lot, to be able to see a picture of it. :)

Sorry for your loss. What was your niece's name? Could you just name it after her? Did she have a name for it? What did she say when she first saw it? BrendaK

I agree with everyone else--name it after your niece. So sorry for your loss.

I too agree with everyone else, name it after your niece. Sorry for you loss. At least you were able to get it done in time so she could enjoy looking at it for the last days of her life.

Your story sounds so similar to one of mine. I made a wall hanging for my brother as he was dying of lung cancer. It was supposed to be a house warming gift but I had put it off. When he found out he had only a few months to live, I had to get it finished.... It was the hardest quilt I've ever made..... because I couldn't stop crying every time I worked on in. That's been 12 years ago. My SIL has it hanging in her house but, I never named it.

Since you have to name yours, perhaps Missions of Hope might be appropriate.
