Just have to say that ALL of the quilts shown are gorgeous. What inspiration for me!

Quiltville.com has a pattern called Scrappy Trips that uses 2.5" strips. Goes together fast, check it out.

Made a mistake in my earlier post. The quilt pattern at favequilts is called "Playing the Scales" & looks like a scrappy bargello. All different fabrics, not a single line & looks very nice.

I'm making a big ole beach blanket out of my 2.5 inch strips and 2.5 inch squares. No pattern. It's my go-to project when I just want to sew, not think! I have no idea how big it will be. But the back will also be squares and strips. I know when I'm laying on the beach, the memories of what those scraps were used for will be pleasant.

Gees! I thought I had a lot of scraps! I love scraps and you must also. I don't think I could fill one of those bags. Scrappy quilts are my favorite quilts to make. I love other quilts but scrappy is a favorite. I hope you will show some of your quilts as you work along. I am amazed at the pieces of fabric that people throw away especially at $12 a yard. Several friends give me scraps and I am so excited to look through the bags. I also save everything that is too small to use to give to a friend who makes dog beds for the humane society. None of my fabrics go to the land fill. :)
