Tru stitch regulator for Babylock/Brother DSM
 

Anyone have this for their quattro, ellisimo, unity, crescendo, dreamweaver, symphony, laura ashley and other models. I am looking for someone that can share tips about the different setting. I just got mine, its charging currently, and want to try it out sometime this week, but the manual is very lacking IMHO and I am not really sure where to start, so if anyone has had this setup for a while can pm me so we can talk.

I was hoping you would get some response on this. I have a Quattro and would be interested in this. I hope it works out for you.

Check the Yahoo groups for your machine type. A few people have them on the Babylock Ellisimo board. You might get some questions answered there by joining the group. I have heard the manual is not very helpful. I wish you the best of luck!

I purchased one several months ago. It was a waste of money. I can do better without it. The least bump in your surface it will not work right. You have to play with it and see what speed is best for you. Usually the middle is best.

It is a rather expensive attachment, but it is helping me. I'll tell you why. When I FM quilted without it, my stitches were too loose underneath due to me not coordinating my speed of foot with speed of hand correctly. When I used it they came out good so I can spend my time focusing on learning FMQing designs right now. I feel like its training wheels and that I'll get better on my own faster from using it. I wanted the tru-stitch regulator so much that I waited till a deal came along that included it for free so Im very fortunate.

I have one and haven't removed it from the packaging. I guess I am afraid. Will be reading for all the tips and advice .

It's pretty simple to use. You have to charge it first. I labeled my chords so I could keep them straight, not that you have to at all. Every time I choose NOT to use it, my top looks ok, but my stitches are too loose on the underside, ugh!
