Has anyone tried the new babylock trustitch regulator?
|
I'll be following this thread, I just bought a Babylock sewing machine.
|
Isn't it the same thing as the BSR??
... anyone with it should be able to answer your questions. |
No too pricey for me but will watch wondering the same. I think it is so new you might have to ask this questin in another 6 months
|
No I haven't tried it, but have talked to my dealer about it....it's pricey! Pretty darn new and I haven't found anyone I know who bought it yet. I'll be watcing this post also. I have 3 Babylocks, so ya never know!
|
What is pricey to you? what range, 10, 20, 100 ?
|
$1000 that is pricey s. saw it this past week

I have the HQ Sweet 16 and tried the demo at the store where I bought it. I was excited to try it, but was a bit disappointed. Maybe a learning curve, but it seems like I do better without it. It felt a bit choppy and the stitches didn't look as nice. Could have been a tension issue and I may go back and try it again now that I've had a chance to use my machine a bit more. I would definitely test drive before purchasing.

In the Pacific NW it retails for $1500! I would love to know if anyone has tried this too! On the Babylock yahoo group at least one person has it and loves it!!
As far as I know it is the same as Bernina's BSR |
I have a BSR with my bernina. Do I use it. The answer is sometimes. I learnt free motion without the BSR and find I can now adays use it or not. If you can free motion spend the money on more fabric and watch the price until it becomes a price you are not so worried about or on eBay.
