I am trying to find a pattern or the tutorial for this quilt but I am not sure what the name is. I do know that you have to have 2 different fabrics to cut the blocks.

I know that the fabric has to be a fabric that has a place that you can see a repeat in the fabric.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have added a picture that i think the quilt may look like completed but i am not sure.

Could be a Paula Nadelstern quilt

Sounds like some kind of Stack and Whack???

Is that a OBW?

Search for the OBW or One Block Wonder.
I have the book by Maxine Rosenthal & Joy Peltzman that explains how they are made.

Looks like a form of OBW.

Do a search for both OBW and one block wonder on this board. Lots of pictures and a great tutorial.

Cutebuns just did a tut in the last couple weeks. It looks like a OBW to me.

i am confused that the need for two fabrics as it does look like a OBW (one block wonder, meaning one fabric, one block, one quilt (two people can use the same fabric and it would be extremely hard to get exactly the same quilt))

The tute was done a little before that but just brought back to life in a couple of ways. and it can be found here on the board under the section for OBW on the main page.
