Trying to identify type of material

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, I'm trying to find out a type of material for my aunt. She has three fat quarters (shown in the pictures), and she wants to make a quilt out of them (shes an experienced quilter), but she needs more material of similar color scheme. We are wondering if there is a name to the type of material she already has, or more specifically, a name to the pattern or colour scheme of the material. I tried looking it up myself and came up short, I don't really know much about quilting. I'm sure people have used this type of material in quilts before, it looks like it could be used or a deep oceany sort of quilt. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone knows a good pattern for this type of quilt, it would definitely give my aunt a good place to start!

Those are batiks I think. I am looking at a real small picture on a cracked phone so forgive me if I am wrong. Somebody will come along shortly and help.

Batiks, I think they are Hoffman Bali prints. Batiks are the hardest to find a name since nothing is printed on the selvage. When did she buy them??

It could be Bali Chop by Hoffman

Any good quilting shop that carries a large line of batiks should have many fabrics that would coordinate beautifully with your aunt's fabrics. mybluebamboo.com carries tons of batiks if you have to buy on-line.

Those are all batiks. Some look like they could be from Timeless Treasures.

I agree..Hoffman Bali batiks. You could try looking online at Old Country Store http://theoldcountrystore.com. I know they carry an extensive line of this fabric and prices are quite reasonable.

You also might want to send Hoffman Fabrics an email explaining that you need some help with getting the fabric numbers for these fabrics. Once you have the numbers, it will make searching for these fabric much easier.Good Luck.
