Hi I'm wanting to make a tshirt quilt out of old rugby jerseys. I'm wondering what I should use for stabilizer?

You can buy an iron on fusible interfacing that will keep the fabric supple but stop the stretch. Most fabric stores should carry it :D:D:D

Try asking for nylon tricot fusible interfacing. Other fusible interfacings may work too. Try for the lightest weight possible, and try out the fusible on some scrap pieces first (perhaps an old t-shirt from the thrift shop). Fusibles can add a lot of stiffness and weight, so you want something light.

Thank you both for your help.

My girlfriend just made one and she used some lightweight iron on interfacing and it worked really nice.

I have made quite a few and always use light weight fusible iron on interfacing.
