TU to tute of glue basting and UFOs for backing
TU to all the quilters who explained to me repeatedly how to glue baste my quilts. (You know who you are. https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/thumbup.png)
Do you have any idea how much time you have saved me? And then there's the quilter who said she/he (?) uses UFOs for backing. I'm do that now and I'm able to finish a lot more quilts for Project Linus...in record time. Goal is 25 by end of March. Finished 3 today which makes a total of 6. Just finished glue basting another lap quilt. Tomorrow start quilting that one and look for whisker threads on the quilts I finished today. As they say...If you can't keep up, please get out of my way...lol |
I am a convert to glue basting. Total time saver and no fumes or overspray

I converted to glue basting a few months ago and have finished 3 quilts that way during 2020. No going back to anything else for me. Also the persons who showed me the value of accuquilt. I will forever be grateful. So many tips and treasures come from this site.

I so agree. Glue basting was a real game changer for me too. And all the tips here are awesome, just like the people :)
