Tucked end binding - hints please!
 

I've begun using the tucked end binding method. Here's a link to a Connecting Threads page describing the method. I'm sure you all know it though

I have difficulty turning the binding from one side to the other without the tucked part becoming slightly "untucked". Most tutes don't give any advice regarding this particular problem. I found one where the sewist suggested using a pin to keep the tucked part inside during the turning stage. I'll try that next time.

I don't know about this technique. I started doing it the way that Patrick Lose has shown twice on F&P PBS show. I haven't seen anything post on the internet. The only difference is that you stop 1/4" from the edge then you stitch off to the corner. That helps you get a better straighter fold. Then when finished stitching, you take those diagonal stitches out and cut off the "bunny ear". Quilters at one of my group were amazed at how flat my binding corners were. I am handing stitching binding to the back.

I'd use washable glue.

If you scroll down on the link that you attached you will see the "seamed" method. That's what I use. You might want to give that a try by just practicing on a sample & then move on to a quilt. I love using this method as you can't see where the binding started or stopped.
