Hello, sorry if you thought this posting was about gardens, but I have seen a quilt pattern called this with the most beautiful material and wondered if anyone while looking at sites comes across any would let me know. The pattern is on e-bay but was not clever enough to post the address.
Many thanks
Katherine :)

You need to scroll down the page away but they sell a kit at this site.
http://www.creations-online.com/pattkits/quilts.htm Actually I see they sell the pattern separately too. HTH

Thank you I had seen it there, I could kick myself as there was a kit on ebay much cheaper but I missed it due to the difference in time as I had to find out if she posted to the UK, I was being a clever clogs and thinking it would be cheaper to buy the material myself as the one on the website works out to be rather expensive with the postage.

I really like this pattern :D I have a few large scale florals and I think they would work beautifully with this pattern. :D

Hello Amma, been ages since we chatted, we must have the same taste, can you remember where you got the fabric from is it very similar to the material shown on the pattern ?

Hi Katherine! I do not remember where I purchased the fabric, I get it online, fabric shops, Walmart, etc.... sorry! I will keep an eye out while I finish up April's Shop Hop though, when I browse ebay, other websites..... I spend waaaay to much time looking at fabric

Loretta, were you serious ? I have been looking through my stash, its becoming a daily ritual now, who would believe the pleasure it gives, and I have found some suitable material. Are you going to attempt it without the pattern, if so do let me know how you are getting on and make any helpful notes.

That is gorgeous..... and all the other patterns at that site are so need. Wish all I had to do was sit in my sewing room and quilt. Best of luck with your quilts-I'm envious.

I have made a start but mine wont be the same as the pattern either, can you help me out, how are you going to measure the size of the infill triangles round the edges ? I could not get my brain in order to work out the black and brown surround of each panel the way the picture shows but I have got some lovely material to make the flower panels, it will be nice to compare.
I am away for the weekend on my boat so will try and take some photos when I get back.
Keep in touch
Katherine :D

oh oh ooooooh, me too me too!!! lol lol I've been trying to think of what to do with Terri's ukelelles and surfer boys she gave me, was thinking of doing an attic windows, but, hmmm, this looks much easier! :) Now i have to think lol Oh Maxie, don't worry about what wsize to make your triangles, just make them a bit bigger than necessary, then trim off the excess. The pattern looks easy, turn the pattern sideways, so your making square blocks instead of diamonds, and frame each bloock with a frame with a y seam in it, simple, at the end of each row add a triangle, and sew your rows together. I've never done that, but i think it looks easy :)

Here's the pattern for anyone that didnt find it scrolling down:
