When I compare the ducks on the green fabric from TM and the one from my stash you can still see how much creamier the TM one is and how much whiter the one from my stash is. The colors are definitely "off" and that is probably why they didn't sell under the Riley Blake labels. But I still think it is a good buy. I will just not mix them.

I bought a jelly roll at TM for 14.99 and made a 1600 in quilt. It turned out fine. The quality of the fabric is good but it did not have as many varieties of fabric in it as a more popular Moda type roll. It only had 7-8 different fabrics in the roll compared to a whole line of fabric. The length of the strips were longer than a conventional jelly roll so the throw is larger than the one from Moda. They seem to have notions at TM also even Fons and Porter items.

Also, different dye lots will just about always have noticeable differences in coloration.

I am just sad and blue cuz TM closed our local store and the next closest one is too far away to visit unless one is going that way for some other reason, and I never am... deep unhappy sighhhhhhhh..........
