I thought I would take my time on it, don't weant to get frustrated and quit before I get started! a challenge if you will.

You will definately succeed with having that attitude! I can't wait to see your progress with it. Please share photos of your progress. The one I am working on is tumbling blocks , but it is called seven sisters..because of the placement of color. I am almost finished with the blocks.

I do plan to get started soon, I have a couple of other things , like the doll quilt, and a pot holder and a table topper or place mats.
like I said, start easy then to the big stuff :D

Hope we see pictures of the seven sisters tumbling blocks! I made a tumbling blocks quilt using the Marci Baker method. I really liked it.

I was also a wonderfully naive first-time quilter. My first one was a tumbling blocks with the y seams! No wonder all the rest have seemed easy!
