Turbo Slider?

I was in the supermarket and they had the thin plastic Turbo Slider plastic sheet toboggans on sale for .54 cents. The one side was shiny and slick for against the snow and I wondered if it would work like the supreme sliders for FMQ. They were about 20 inches wide by 60 inches long and I would have to cut the hole for the needle but I am pondering if I will go back and get one. If I still did templates for tracing quilt patterns, it would work for that too. Hmmmm.....

Well I know we don't have those, but for .54 I would definitely give it a try

They were in the Clearance bin of my Superstore up here in Canada. I have seen them in Walmart too in the sled/snow shovel area. They are a kind of thin plastic that has a hole in the front to hold onto and they are flexible so that when a child sits on them to go down a hill, the plastic curves up so they can hold on through the handle. I'm thinking I'll pick up a couple and give it a go.

Oooooh, I just had and inspired idea. You could cut them up for the bottoms of purses too. I will have to check out our local Walmart & such. Thanks for the inspiration.

Well worth the try.

I would give it a try. We live in the S so no chance of them in my area.
