I bought this from walmart. Does anyone have this centerpiece? What I am wondering is what color of thread did you use to sew it? I was starting to use an off white but not to sure if it looks good on the tail.

Yes I got a picture. The turkey came with a small picture of it. I thought that after I had cut all the parts out I had thrown it away until you mentioned it. So I dug into my stuff and wa...la... I found it. Here it is. Answer to my question I used the black thread.

I have not fishished it. Just got the tail finished.

The turkey is beautiful. What exactly are you doing with it? Are you making a quilt centerpiece or is it a cross-stitch pattern? Are you pieceing that turkey? Please share more info for inquiring minds! Oh and post pictures of your project please, I'd love to see!

I got one of those too, along with the pumpkin. I cut them out, but that's as far as I got.
|
Love it.

Renee, the turkey wings and tail is quilted and the body and head is stuffed and has poly pellets for the weight.
Tlrnhi, this turkey is the big one. I got this one last year after the holidays. You have the other one that I want. Yours came with the pumpkin. jeanette |
Yes, mine came with a pumpkin, that's why I bought it. Might take me a few years to make it lol
|
Is it cross stitch or printed on fabric? It sure is cute..
|
It is printed on the fabric.
|
ah ok thanks. :D

The side view looks better. I haven't used embroidery thread before and I used it thick when outlining the head and beak. Anyway For my first center piece I don't think I did too bad.

He sure is cute!
