Get out a piece of graph paper. Begin by marking a 6 sq by 6 sq. unit. On the right side of it, mark a 3 sq. by 6 sq. piece that runs the length of the 6 square unit. Next mark a 3 sq. by 9 sq. piece running along the bottom of the other two pieces. Mark dark enough to be copied. Enlarge the graph paper drawing to suit your self. Cut into three units, the tape those to another piece of paper and add the quarter inch all around for each piece.

I have never made one, but I always understood the Turning Twenty is made from 20 different fat quarters, each cut into 4 different shapes-squares and rectangles. I would think that you could stack up the fat quarters in a quantity that works for you, cut out the same shapes from them, then arrange the cut pieces so that they fit into the size quilt you are looking for. Could be long and narrow, could be short and wide. Add a border if you'd like. Anyway, that is what I have on my list of things to do. I always use graph paper or Excel when I create my projects, so this would be fairly easy to draw out. I have the QuiltCut 2, so should be easy cutting up to 10 fat quarters at a time.
