Is there a big difference between the Turning Twenty pattern and tne Wickedly Easy Pattern? The Wickedly Easy Pattern is free on line.
Has anyone used both? |
I think the pieces are larger in the Turning Twenty. I did print off the Wicked Easy patterns though..thanks, I didn't even know they existed.

The WE looks like fun. Haven't tried the Turning Twenty so can't compare them. :-) |
I have made both and either one works well. Both quilts work with a 16 1/2' block unit which means tops go together fast. The biggest difference is that you can get a scrappier look to the Wickedly Easy quilt as there are more pieces in a block amd you could make every piece using different fabric. It works up quickly as you only need 2 1/2' and 4 1/2" strips to construct your block. Both of these quilts are great to use up scraps or to teach a beginner to quilt as they will look good no matter what fabrics you use. The Turning Twenty block is probably the easier of the two as the pieces are fewer and larger.
