I bought two Moda Turnovers on Ebay and need some ideas as to how to put them together to make a nice quilt. I have no yardage to make a variety of other squares. Any ideas?

I used turnovers to make a simple carpenter's star.

Go to the Moda Bakeshop and type in Turnovers in the search box. The quilt in my avatar was from that site. I made mine larger than the pattern by adding several extra blocks.
http://www.modabakeshop.com/ Helpful hint...starch them before you sew them! I had no issues with stretch on the bias because I starched them. Another thought is to just mix and match them in pairs and sew the long sides together into squares. Then square them all up to be even and sew the blocks together. I've got a bunch leftover from my quilt. I might do that with mine also. |
