Has anyone used this method. It seems, to me, as this is a waste of material. Thanks for any info.

Had never heard of this method so I found a video on youtube and watched, and it does seem a waste of fabric.

I tried the "10 minute block" and although I did like the way they looked, thought it was a waste of fabric as well.

I love it. I have bought the big and little twister template. It is fun and fast to do. I save the scraps for other things.

Twist and Turn is a method of folding fabric into a triangle and stitching it on a square.

After watching the video, I'm not sure I would make it. I too think it is a lot of wasted fabric!

I think it is a great idea fir beginning quilters. They can make a quilt that looks difficult and gain some self confidence in becoming a great quilter.
Then again you need to decide if you'd rather "waste" a little fabric or waste your time cutting out multiple pieces just to sew them together to get the same result.
